The City has hired Deep Roots Pest and Wildlife Innovations LLC to conduct trapping of several beavers and nutria in the Heritage Park wetlands. The trapping is required to reduce human/animal conflict and the damage of property by the beavers’ dam making. The trapping is regulated through the State and requires licensing through the Department of Fish and Wildlife Control Operators (WCO) certification.
