City

The City of La Center was officially incorporated on August 27, 1909 and located on the north bank of the East Fork of the Lewis River in Clark County.
What began as a strong town built on the business of the river, especially during the booming lumber industry, has grown to a city with ambitious plans for downtown vibrancy, sanctuaries of parks and trails, and new housing developments with beautiful territorial views. This makes the City of La Center a charming and peaceful place to live and raise a family while embracing the beautiful nature of the river.
