The City of La Center beginning in January 2022 started using a new building permit software, iWorQ.
The software creates a smoother and more modern workflow for the Community Development department. The most beneficial feature for the community is the ability to apply and pay for over-the-counter permits online through the La Center portal. So, if you are replacing your water heater or adding a new air conditioner to your home the permit is only a few clicks away. The online portal also holds all of our other building permit applications (not over-the-counter) for ease of access.
